Worship

Kingsway worship style has been described as inspiring, modern and excellent.  A team of more than 20 musicians gather to serve the church in leading us in energetic and meaningful worship that points the way to our great God.

Here at Kingsway, we  believe that worship is not about us, it is about God. It is not something that we do when we feel like it, it is a choice that we make because God deserves it – all the time. And it is not merely a time where members of the church gather to sing songs that we like – it is a time of remembering how deeply God loves us, and choosing to love him in return.

The worship band is lead by Jen Tate – a singer, songwriter, pianist and (occasionally) guitar player. She graduated from Valley Forge Christian College in 2004 with a B.A. in Church Music. She has been married to RJ Tate for 2 years, and loves to drink coffee, sell things on ebay, re-arrange her furniture and shop for good deals (never pay full price). But when it all comes down to it, her passion is for God, and for writing and singing songs that help us better understand who God is, who we are, and how that all comes together in the end.
