2nd Saturday

Jeremiah 29.7  ”And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile.  Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”

We believe at Kingsway Church that Jesus teaches every believer to live on mission daily.  What that means to us is, not only do we desire to live our personal lives close to Him daily, but also to share His love and hope with those around us.  Those around us include our families, our communities, and other communities around the world.

So what is 2nd Saturday?  2nd Saturday is our local community initiative in Cherry Hill and surrounding local communities.  The 2nd Saturday of every month from 8:00 AM til Noon we participate in local community service, free to the organization/persons served.

Why do we do this?  Simply to show people in our community in a practical way that Jesus loves them.

Please join us on February 11th as we kick off 2nd Saturday 2012.  Show up at the church at 8:00 AM ready to serve.  We will be back at the church by Noon.

8:00 AM-Noon

There will be two activities and we’ll divide into groups Saturday morning when you arrive.

1.  Combined Indoor/Outdoor service:

Age:  Adults

Tip: Wear clothes to clean/paint/scrub.

2.  Outdoor service:

Age: Adults, Teens, and Children (accompanied by parents)

Bundle up to do outdoor clean up.
